Financial Support for Families After Non-Fatal Drowning
Caring for a child recovering from a non-fatal drowning-related brain injury often comes with unexpected and overwhelming costs. Project One Cause provides financial assistance to help families access qualified therapies, adaptive equipment, and treatments that support their child’s recovery.
To ensure support is used exactly as intended, Project One Cause provides payment directly to approved therapy providers or equipment vendors, rather than issuing funds to families.
If your family needs help, we encourage you to apply.
How Financial Assistance Is Provided
Project One Cause does not issue funds directly to families.
All approved financial support is paid directly to therapy providers, clinics, or equipment vendors to ensure funds are used exactly as intended.
What We Help Fund
Project One Cause provides assistance for expenses directly related to a child’s recovery from non-fatal drowning-related brain injury. This may include:
Therapy programs (approved rehabilitation or specialized therapies)
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) at vetted partner clinics
Adaptive or medical equipment recommended to support recovery
Each request is reviewed individually based on need, relevance to the child’s care, and available funding.
